Every android phone has an easteregg, android 14 is about space.
Find your easteregg
Open the settings app
- scroll completely down
- click
about phone
If you see an android version number, spam click that, otherwise you should first click
software information
to find the android version
Once you have launched the easteregg, you hold down the android 14 logo, which starts to vibrate. and soon you will see a spaceship.
It will have a lot of statistics, like your coordinates and speed. now you can fly around by dragging.
Help with Coordinates
- Going North ⬆️ makes the second number smaller (the Y coordinate)
- Going East ➡️ makes the first number bigger (the X coordinate)
- Going South ⬇️ makes the second number bigger (the Y coordinate)
- Going West ⬅️ makes the first coordinate go smaller (the X coordinate) Keep in mind that smaller doesn’t mean closer to
0,0
.0,0
is the center of the world which means that you should check whether your coordinates are positive or negative. (avove or below 0)
But there is more to be done, if you fly to 0,0 you will find the sun with a lot of red orbital rings. Here you can have fun with trying to orbit your ship around the sun, since the sun does have gravitational pull.
Please note
Moving fast will hinder your progress of finding planets, try doign short bursts, and not go above a velocity of 1K
But there is more, if you look at the top stats, it says bodies: 0 / 2
, you can find planets, in this case 2 planets. This number changes every day. And so does the name of the star that you are orbiting, the class of the star, the mass of the star, and your starting coordinate. for the ease of this article, we will take all settings like it was for me on Monday July 28th 2025
.
Please note
Whilst all android 14 phones have this game, that does not mean that all games are the same. This guide is based on my Samsung a52s.
My planets orbitted at Y100k and Y150k. but this might be different for you. The easiest way to find them is to follow an axis, like X=0 and just slowly move further away from the sun on the Y axis. If you go in a straight line, you will notice it once you enter a gravitational pull of a planet, since you will suddenly not go straight anymore.
Another way to find them is by noticing their light blue orbital ring. Which in my case was at Y100K and Y150K, and then to follow the ring untill you find the planet. Make sure to not miss the blue ring with this approach.
Above is a picture of the blue orbital line.
Keep in mind that the planets do move, so whilst the first method i provided might be quicker, it might not mean that it will work. following the blue line will guarantee a successful result.
Altitude indicator
An important way to know whether you are close is by looking at the altitude meter, this meter only shows up when you are in a gravitational pull of a planet / the sun. This indicated how close you are.
You can see it in the bottom left of your screen above the coordinates,
ALT: 2202
. This meter generally only shows 10K distance from the star / planet. Which is why going at full speed (5K) will make it hard for you to notice, since you’ll be outside of it again in roughly 4 seconds at max, and a millisecond in the worst case.
once you find a planet, you can try to land on it to see it’s statistics. Crashing into it is not the same as landing on a planet.
Planets Spoiler (28th July 2025)
Planet 1:
Planet 2:
The maximum size of the game is 200K on any axis. The max distance in total will also be 200K since the map is a circle.
Seeing as the stats change every day. (and on all phones that I have seen were the same.) I’ll place a register below about every confirmation that I have seen.

My analysis says that the UDC number behind the starname correlates with the current date. Take for example UDC-50630
. It is the 30th day of the month today which explains the 30
, and it’s on the 7th month, but computers start counting at 0
, so the 06
means july. And the 5
just means 2025, since they probably didn’t think anyone would play this android 14 easteregg in 2030, or it will just add another number in 2030.
I also think that this UDC number might be the seed, meaning that if 2030 does not add another number, you’ll be able to find this exact world again on the 30th of July 2035.
here is a reddit and post where they discuss it.
