I am going to start off by saying, The first thing you have to do is installing applications. So here are a few I always install: Apps I use

Bitlocker

Disable it ASAP

uninstalling apps

1. I recommend uninstalling Onedrive if you don’t use it.
2. Cortana
   1. Open Start.
   2. Search for PowerShell, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
   3. Type the following command to uninstall Cortana from Windows 10 and press Enter:Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 | Remove-AppxPackage
3. Feedback hub
4. Edge:
   • might not work
   1. Open Start.
   2. Search for PowerShell, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
   3. Type the following command to uninstall Cortana from Windows 10 and press Enter: **Get-AppxPackage *edge* | Remove-AppxPackage**

Remove startup apps

1. Ctrl+Shift+esc to open task manager
2. go to startup
3. disable the following:
   1. Microsoft Edge
   2. Microsoft teams

Windows 11

1. install explorer patcher and change your settings. (Change the settings by right clicking the task-bar and selecting properties)
2. right click on the taskbar > taskbar settings
   • search: hide
   • widgets: off
   • chat: off
3. click on the windows icon in the taskbar > unpin all apps that windows pushes there.
4. settings > privacy & security > search permissions > show search highlights: false
5. settings > system > sound > check your input and output devices (also do so in discord if you migrated from win 10 to 11.)
