Wplace is a collaborative pixel art website developed by Brazilian developer Murilo Matsubara and launched on 21 July 2025, where users can edit the canvas by changing the color of a single pixel on a world map. The website is based on r/place, a collaborative project that was hosted on Reddit.
Wplace launched 21st of july 2025 and is still going on as of writing this. (29 days later) Unlike R/place, Wplace has a storage, meaning that you don’t need to be online every 30 seconds. Your storage starts at 30 and increases the more you draw. (I am currently at 144)
Wplace features the world map as a background, meaning that you can draw at your house, or your favourite place. This also comes with a leaderboard for countries and regions. You can also ally with people by joining a group.
