Welcome, this page serves as a Cheat Sheet for myself to look at how I categorize my notes / documentation. This might be useful for other people to read, but I assume it will not be.
Folders
We have moved away from the Johnny Decimal system for a reason, we don’t always have the right folder to put notes into, or it belongs to multiple notes at the same time. This is why we are moving / have moved to a more minimalist approach. We now have fewer folders with vague but distinct names, this way it is more categorised on note structure than on what it is about. This is because there are only X many note structures possible, whilst there are millions of topics to write about.
We do have a few exceptions like the School folder, but this is because it is quite obvious to know whether I write an article for school, or for literally any other reason.
