I had the issue that too many devices had downloads, you can only have 5 devices with downloads. So I googled and found this support article that said that I should either wait 30 days, or contact support and let them know I want all my downloads removed. At first you’ll talk with a chatbot, but after like 7 messages telling it about your issue, it will connect a real person that can read back the chat and quickly solve it for you. I had this explenation:

I recently switched linux distros on my laptop and pc, which means that spotify thinks I have 4 devices. that combined with the fact that I have spotify songs downloaded on my phone and steamdeck menas that spotify thinkks that I have reached the device limit. Now I found this support article:

it told me to either wait 30 days or contact support which will remotely disable the downloads, so that's why I am here, I don't want to wait 30 days.
