My friend also made an article on this here.
Installation
In this article, I’ll assume you have already soldered it together.
The above pictures show what it looks like.
I need more info
All info in this article is from this powerpoint on brightspace.
Tip
Bewaar deze handleiding goed, zodat je de stappen opnieuw kunt doorlopen als je het wachtwoord van je WiFi-netwerk wijzigt
Attatchment
This article assumes you've already flashed it.
If you / your teacher did not do this yet. go here for an explanation on how to flash it.
Put your ethernet cable in one of the ports on your Smart meter. It doesn’t really matter which.
Then find the same port in your fuse box (meterkast) on the electricity measurer.
The port probably says P1
.
There is already an device in the P1 port
Take it out. And after you completed the steps of this article, add the other device to the empty port of your smart meter.
I connected it, but there is no blue light.
You have an old device. You should attach a micro usb cable to your smart meter. This is because the meter needs power to work.
Connecting
Your kit is connected. but we have to connect it to the wifi. You want to use your mobile phone for this.
Zolang het kitje nog niet is ingesteld maakt het zijn eigen WiFi-netwerk aan.
Connect to this wifi network. Then if your phone doesn’t automatically got to the configuration page, go to the wifi network settings and click “manage router”. or try going to http://192.168.4.1.
Here you have to put in the login of your wifi network.
Screenshot your credentials!
You’ll see something like the following image, take a screenshot of this. This is your login to your data.
If the blue light disappeared, you have succeeded. 🎉
login
Now that you have connected to the login, use the following link to login and see your data: https://grafana.sendlab.nl/
Here you’ll have to login. I am not going to put the login credentials here out of security reasons. On slide 8 of this powerpoint you’ll find your login.
On the next page, go to the dropdown and select your smart meter. this is the credentials that you should’ve taken a screenshot of like I said here!
At the top of the page, there is this share button:
Use this to copy the link to your specific smart meter.
Copying link.
This is what your link will look like:
