Brightspace
Brightspace is a learning management system that is used by a lot of schools and universities in the world. And it is universally disliked by students.
Brightspace is developed by D2L (or Desire2Learn) and it is a company that originates from Canada.
With Brightspace you can easily host your entire curriculum, which gives the students access to all information they might need. But the fact that schools have to design their own organisation system is why it is hated by so many students, because Brightspace shows them that their teachers / school does not have a good system. It is so easy for important things to be uploaded in places where students will never find it. Or teachers that post the same exercise on a different place, with a different rubric. Both of these issues arise because of the lack of organisation skills that the teachers have.
There also is a Brightspace app called brightspace pulse but it doesn’t support all schools. For example, Avans is not accessible through the app.
