How do you run a tar.gz file
If you have been installing Linux apps, you know that sometimes you get a .tar.gz, but what is it? You can extract it like a zip, but that doesn’t show you an appimage or executable, so what to do now?
Well, it really is just a zip folder. So it really just depends on what you downloaded. Look for a readme. In the case of TagStudio, the thing I wanted to download, look here.
