quartz private notes
You should look at your quartz configuration
In quartz, there are 2 forms of private notes. ExplicitPublish or RemoveDrafts. These 2 work the opposite of each other.
ExplicitPublish
ExplicitPublish is a plugin built into quartz that makes it so that no notes are published, unless it has the publish flag.
RemoveDrafts
RemoveDrafts is a plugin that only hides the notes that have the draft flag set to true.
It is important to note that these 2 plugins only hide notes, any other files like pdf’s are not hidden.
To enable either 1 of these plugins, go to quartz.config.ts and add Plugin.RemoveDrafts() or Plugin.ExplicitPublish() to the filters:[].
Whilst my vault personally has ExplicitPublish enabled, it is up to you to choose your system. ExplicitPublish is more secure, but is easy to forget when you make a lot of files at a rapid pace
