QuartzForums is the part at the bottom of this page which allows people to discuss my articles. This is a custom Plugin that I wrote for Quartz.

How to participate

Sending your first message For your first message, you need to provide an account key. You can get this account key by going to {website} and creating an account. Once you have provided this account key, it is saved in your browser until you clear your localstorage.

Features

I decided to implement full forum functionality. This includes:

• Looking up users
• Customizing your profile
• Finding a list of recent forums
• Viewing all additions a user has made to any discussions.

FAQ

• Why did you add this to Quartz? I got the idea on a random evening, and kinda just wanted to see if I was smart enough to tinker around with the quartz framework.

• Why do I need to setup an account on a separate website? Whilst I could’ve just easily included the registering process inside of Quartz, I didn’t want to have to imitate the quartz style with my own page. And besides, I now am able to reuse this discussion system on other projects.

• How can I add QuartzForums to my Quartz vault? Well, I integrated the back-end of QuartzForums into my personal API, which means you’ll have to create your own back-end.
