installing Revanced manager + patching an app

1. go to https://revanced.app
2. go to the download tab (or https://revanced.app/download)
3. click on the download button
4. install it
5. install it (might have to enable permission to install unknown apps)
6. open revanced manager
7. stop optimising battary usage (if neccesary)
8. go to the patcher tab (wrench icon)
9. “select an app”
10. choose an app you want to patch, i’ll take youtube for example
11. it says “suggested:” and then a version number, click that button
12. open it the website in a browser of your choice
13. select a website that you trust, and download the .apk
14. (watch out for fake download buttons whilst downloading the .apk)
15. go back to revanced
16. go back to revanced manager (you don’t want/need to install the .apk you just downloaded
17. go back to the app you want to pacht, but this time click on the icon / title
18. click on “select from storage”
19. select the .apk you just downloaded
20. click the patch button
21. don’t wait for the progressbar to finish, it won’t. look for the word patched / the install button.
22. click the install button
23. allow revanced to install unknown apps
24. if you don’t have revanced microG yet, install it like installing revanced MicroG

installing revanced MicroG

1. go here to download it
2. install the .apk
3. click on “self-check”
4. enable all except “system spoof signature” and “play services (GmsCore) has correct signature” because i couldn’t figure that out. Unless they are already enabled, then keep them enabled”
5. go back to main menu
6. click on “google accounts”
7. add a google account
8. “allow apps to find account” is a thing you can enable, i did.
